From the Club Ultra Máximus we are pleased to inform you that this 2023 year the RATCU (Run around the clock Ultra) returns to the province of Ávila, in this case in Burgohondo.
This long-distance trail race is characterised by being a race in which the clock rules. The runner must complete laps of the 11.8 km Trail circuit in less than two hours each. In other words, every two hours the start will be given and the runner who does not manage to complete the course in less than two hours will be eliminated. The requirement of this type of competition is that there is no limit to the number of laps and it will only finish when there is only one runner left who manages to complete the lap in less than 2 hours alone. The clock never stops, there will be competition even at night, every two hours.
For those who do not dare to take the full RATCU, there are two other categories: 36 km (3 laps) or 12 km (1 lap).
